Helen qualified in June 1993 from Glasgow University and then undertook a year's vocational training in a city centre dental practice in Dundee. She then joined a family dental practice in Fife where she worked as a dental associate for over five years. Helen moved to Bonnyrigg in December 1999, taking over the dental practice from the retiring dentist.
Helen has led the practice through many changes since then with the practice premises being modernised, upgraded and expanded with the creation of a second surgery and a local decontamination room.
Helen has always been very active with continuing professional development and in the past has been on the Lothian General Dental Practitioners Subcommittee, as well as a vocational trainer for newly qualified dentists. She is a member of the British Dental Association.
Outside dentistry, Helen enjoys going to the cinema and socialising with friends and family. She has been a keen horse rider since childhood and enjoys competing in dressage and eventing as well as taking part in local riding club events.

Ailsa is a registered Dental Therapist, who graduated with a BSc in Oral Health Science from the University of Dundee in 2011.
Ailsa joined the practice in 2023 with extensive experience in practice since her graduation.
